Turning a Tech Hall Ceiling into a Floating Canvas of Color
During GITEX Technology Week 2019, one of the Middle East’s leading technology exhibitions, ANKA Inflatables provided large-scale balloon structures suspended from the exhibition hall’s ceiling to create a vibrant aerial installation above the main stage and visitor zones.
The installation combined inflatable spheres in red, black, and mirrored silver finishes, producing a striking contrast with the industrial ceiling framework of Dubai World Trade Centre. The suspended clusters created a dynamic rhythm that echoed the event’s energy, symbolizing innovation, connection, and forward movement.
ANKA Inflatables was responsible for the manufacturing and production of the inflatable spheres, ensuring consistency in material finish, air retention, and visual quality throughout the project.
While conceptually straightforward, the result delivered strong visual impact and atmosphere, demonstrating how refined fabrication and color balance can transform temporary event environments with simplicity and precision.
